In his defense White claims he was severely intoxicated. "I was quite drunk," he alleged. "I must have had about eight pints of lager and then I took 30 paracetamol."
"I didn't realize how many paracetamol I was taking," White continued. "I was in the house, then I saw the empty sachets and realized I'd taken too many. I felt really confused."
Despite opposite claims, White maintains he never asked the singer for money. "I said, 'Look Susan, I've had a wee accident. I need some help. I need to use your phone'. I didn't ask for any money," he insisted. White was taken to the hospital when the police finally arrived at Boyle's home.
A police spokesman has apparently informed the Sun that "No further action will be taken."
