Katy Perry Nip-Slip ... Almost: Singer Narrowly Avoids Wardrobe Malfunction (PHOTOS)

Katy Perry showed off her new, dark-purple locks when she arrived on the 2012 ASCAP POP Music Awards red carpet -- but that wasn't the only thing she was showing off. The pop star's ample assets nearly popped out of her embroidered Temperley London gown, when one of her spaghetti straps decided to go AWOL!

Katy narrowly escaped a nip-slip at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel event in Los Angeles, Calif. We're guessing that's not the "Part of Me" Katy wants everyone to see! But we must admit, after all the wild photos we've seen from her nights at the Coachella music festival with bestie Rihanna, we're surprised we haven't gotten a peep show already!

I can't begin to count the "almosts" in my life. Almost became the first person to fly the space shuttle, but I decided not to apply for NASA. Almost became President, but decided not to run. Almost became a billionaire, but decided not to. And AOL almost had a story here.

Give us a break. This is the most idiotic thing to write about. I sell house paint for a living (LiquidCeramic.com) and it's hard to imagine this kind of crap is all some folks do with their lives.
