Maroon 5 'Payphone' Video Shoot: Adam Levine Is Bloody and Bruised (PHOTOS)

What happened to Adam Levine?! Don't worry, the Maroon 5 frontman didn't get himself into a big brawl or a car crash ... not in real life, anyway! The photo of the bloody and bruised singer was snapped from the video set of his band's newest single "Payphone."

Levine was spotted making a call from a Los Angeles phone booth, fleeing from the police with a female co-star and speeding away in a classic sports car. "This s--- is truly insane. In a great way. Crazy," Adam tweeted, along with the photo captioned, "rough morning."

The Wiz Khalifa-assisted "Payphone" is the first single off Maroon 5's upcoming album Overexposed, out June 26.
