A Just Jared eye-witness reports that Katy and Robert had dinner with friends, including her stylist Johnny Wujek, actress Shannon Woodward and jewelery designer Markus Molinari, at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, Calif.
The group allegedly dined in the back area of the hotel's patio, while Katy "had her arm around Robert for a good portion of the night." The pair looked "really happy with each other," the source said. "They both had smiles on their faces and held hands on the way out," the eye-witness added.
Meanwhile, the pop star is gearing up to release her 3D concert documentary in theaters this July, the same month her divorce from Brand will be made official. Naturally, the footage, filmed over the course of Perry's 2011 California Dreams world tour, includes scenes of the former couple pre-split.
"There's loads of stuff in there that relates to her life with Russell and she's really not comfortable about it all going in," a source told The Sun. Apparently, Katy has edited certain scenes with Russell out of the film entirely. That's one way to "cut" someone out of your life!
