Demi Lovato Attacked on Stage: Fans Mob Singer During Paraguay Concert (VIDEO)

After having her hair pulled by a frantic crowd of fans in Venezuela despite a 17-bodyguard security detail, Demi Lovato has been attacked, yet again, by her grabby supporters -- this time in Paraguay. They don't call them "Lovatics" for nothing!

The teen sensation caused chaos at her sold-out concert in Paraguay's capital city, Asuncion. She requested that the gate between concert-goers and the stage be opened, so her fans could be closer to her. "I feel like I'm not doing you guys justice tonight because I have to admit I'm not feeling too good," Demi told the crowd.

"I'm really sorry. I feel like I could be doing something more for you guys ... so I wanna let all these kids down here. You guys gotta be safe though!" And with that, Lovato opened the flood gates -- literally! A swarm of overzealous fans jumped onto the stage and a few went in for some big hugs before the startled star was whisked away by security guards.

Demi returned to the stage a few minutes later and told the audience, "You gotta chill out." We hope that was a lesson learned for the singer -- those barriers are there for a reason!
