Later last night (May 1), E! reported the 26-year-old was "fine" and fainted after "feeling dizzy" following a long day of work. Before the scare, Riley was set to be a part of a panel presentation with her "Glee" castmates at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, held in front of Emmy voters. She was thankfully well in time to still participate.
After the event ended, Amber took to her Twitter account to explain the incident to her fans. "Hey guys, I'm okay :) I got a little dizzy from all the photog flashes!" she wrote, adding, "You'd think I's be used to it by now, still a red carpet amateur I guess." Still, the carpet collapse proved to be enough to get Amber into a doctor's office. "Gonna get checked out but I feel fine. Thank you for all the concern and well wishes."
Amber also gave a shout-out to the shutterbugs for a rare and unexpected show of character. "I'd also like to thank the photographers for being so professional and not taking photos of me on the ground," she wrote. "I truly truly appreciate it. Could have been super embarrassing."
We just hope Amber's taking care of herself. That last time she made headlines on the red carpet, it was due to her staggering weight loss.
