As reported by The BoomBox, Diplo's producing mastery on Beyonce's "Run the World (Girls)" started as a joke. According to Newsbeat, Bey's anthem of female empowerment has a very funny beginning.

"I still think a lot of people don't even realize where that song came from," Diplo reveals. "That song never really had a push. It was a joke song we did. Kind of like a funny joke kind of song."

Even though it began as something humorous, "Run the World" is now a staple in Beyonce's live show and the lynchpin behind her latest album, 4.

If Dip and Beyonce made this tune while joking around, think of what they could do if they were actually serious!
