Speaking of Team Levine, "The Voice" coach and Maroon 5 frontman has confessed that "Moves Like Jagger" was nearly the hit that never was. The band's collaboration with Aguilera was almost shelved as Adam was terrified of releasing the risky Mick Jagger tribute. "S--t! ... 'Jagger' was almost a mistake. I was scared to release it," he told Rolling Stone. Apparently the success of the song ended up introducing some much needed life into his stale relationship with his songwriting partners-in-crime, Benjamin Levin, Ammar Malik and Shellback. In other singing competition news, Rihanna is set to perform on the upcoming season finale of "American Idol." The May 23, Season 11 finale will also feature performances from the show's judge Jennifer Lopez, as well as Season 7 champ David Cook. [American Idol]

The UNICEF ambassador has pledged to live off of a measly $1.50 a day in a bid to bring awareness to the dire living conditions of the Sahel region of Africa.
