Christina Aguilera, Tony Lucca Feud: Was the Singer Secretly in Love With Her Co-Star Turned 'Voice' Nemesis?

The big story from "The Voice"s finale last night (May 8) was that Jermaine Paul was crowned this season's big winner. However, throughout the entire season of the show, the even bigger story has been the strange and bitter feud between mentor Christina Aguilera and contestant Tony Lucca. For those unfamiliar with the back story, Christina and Tony starred together as kids on "The Mickey Mouse Club." However, when Lucca came to audition for "The Voice," Aguilera acted as though she didn't recognize him.

But that was just the start of the strangeness between the former costars. As the season progressed, Christina became more and more critical of Tony, calling him out on numerous occasions with downright rude comments. At first, Lucca took the harsh words in stride, but finally snapped back, telling PEOPLE Magazine: "I'm not going to let one person bring me down. Clearly that seems like part of her strategy."

So what gives -- why did Christina seem to have it out for Tony this entire season? According to another former co-star from their "Mickey Mouse Club" days, it may all stem from an unrequited teen crush! Dale Godboldo, who co-starred with Tony and Christina on the show in the '90s, tells TMZ that Aguilera was actually smitten with Lucca back in the day. "Christina was in love with him," reveals Dale. But she wasn't the only one. "Britney was in love with him," added Godboldo, referencing other "MMC" star, Britney Spears.

However, despite the original crush on Aguilera's part, nothing ever came of it, leading Aguilera to hold a grudge against her former object of affection. At least according to Godboldo. "All of this ["Voice"] madness was not brought on by Tony," Dale tells TMZ.

Whether or not Aguilera's bitterness was the cause of the season-long feud, it appears the singer is trying to mend fences with Lucca. During the end of last night's finale, audiences saw Christina whispering sweetly in Tony's ear. "She just wanted to clear the air a bit," Lucca, explained to Us Weekly. "[She] apologize[d] that this became much more of a dramatic thing than she ever intended it. I said to her, 'I hope that we can be cool moving forward. I take pride in the fact that my whole career has been a career of integrity, and sound relationships."

Well, it’s that time of the year again. All of the big design houses are releasing their new designs to the hungry masses, and Gucci Handbags is no exception. Unless you have been stranded on a desert isle for the last thirty years, you have undoubtedly heard of Gucci Outlet. They have been reigning over the fashion world for a great many years, and not totally without warrant. Gucci makes top quality, stylish apparel and accessories for the distinguishing Gucci Handbags On Sale.

Nah, she didn't actually believe the song was "derogatory toward women", she just wanted to harm his chances because she's a jealous, vindictive bitch. When she claims she didn't intend to harm his chances or his career, it's utterly false. That was totally her intention.

Also Cee Lo and Adam are okay. Blake is an effeminate mangina who picks only female singers based on looks, and never has anything meaningful to say. Christina is a fat, ugly, disgusting bitch.

It is time for a replacement for Christina. And who is dressing her? She needs to realize she is FAT! Wear some clothes that fit. No one wants to see those saggy boobs anymore. Stick to singing Christina. You are no longer hot! Adam, Celo, and Blake are soooo cool. And then there is Christina. Yuck.

It was going to be either Jermaine or Chris. The final four were SO worthy. They all have paid their dues.
I am hoping to hear all new options offered, as regards their music careers. Enjoyed this final four very much because of the varied talent they brought to the 'Voice'. Chris was a breath of fresh air. Can see him not only in voice, but also movies and TV. Jermaine, bring that fab voice on, and the best to Tony...may he make Christina eat crow. She has been the most embarrasing altogether for the show, her outfits were NOT 'SEXY'....they were LOW CLASS. and... the four blew her now voice out of the water. Wouldn't shed a tear with her replacement.
outfits (rediculous and guess what.....they all screemed not sexy, but simply put, 'low class'.

She should had known that his career and reputation was on the line because of her behavior toward him.

She really could had hurt the guy emotionally/professionally because of some past secret crush.

I really hope that she did apologize to the guy and meant it.

CA has a fantastic voice......Hands down.....No argument there!!!!! Unfortunately however, her personality lacks the same talent. She seems to have grown quite fond of herself over the years. TOO fond! After watching the Voice for the past two seasons......I've gone from being a CA fan....to now only liking her voice.
She seems more interested in impressing the world with her self....than being a fair judge.
If you payed attention.....Why is it....that she's the ONLY one of the judges that constantly has to go up on stage to give "Hugs" to her "Team". That's more of a "Hey World.....Look at Me" than a sincere hug.
And seriously.......She needs a new Wardrobe Team. It's a family show....not a Cabaret!!!!
