Joe Jonas Bike Stolen: Jonas Brother Reveals New York City Theft

Even celebrities aren't immune to the crazy streets of New York! Joe Jonas recently revealed that a routine shopping trip in the Big Apple turned sour when his preferred mode of transportation, his bicycle, was stolen.

"I have a place on Bleecker and Bowery," the 22 year old told Us of his new NYC digs. "It's a great area, there is so much stuff to do. New York City is awesome. It's such an alive city, there is always so much going on, it just makes you want to wake up early."

One of Jonas' favorite urban pastimes is taking his bike for a spin, but his rosy picture of New York got a little cloudier one day recently when the cyclist was robbed! "I love to ride my bike around the city, of course I can't do that any more because it was stolen," Joe revealed. "It was crazy. I was riding it around on Prince and Mercer, shopping with my brother and walked into a shop for 10 minutes. When I came back my bike was gone. I was pretty freaked out, I was looking around to see if maybe I misplaced it. Been bike-less for a few weeks, but I'm going to get another one."

Joe even took to his Twitter account to tell tale of the theft. "My bike was stolen yesterday ... But almost as bad ... My ice cream fell on the ground ... This just means today is gonna be a great day," he wrote sarcastically.
