Katy Perry stepped out for designer Karl Lagerfeld's dinner party in Paris, France in March wearing this super-sexy Balmain dress. Weeks later, Kim Kardashian rocked a very similar frock from the designer's collection to the premiere of her boyfriend Kanye West's "Cruel Summer" short film at the Cannes Film Festival, also in France. While Perry pulled the look together with open-toed sandals and an electric-blue 'do, Kim let her famous curves do the talking, slicking her hair back and donning black ankle booties.

Minus the blue hair (which she REALLY needs to get rid of. And the pink.), katy looks much better. The dress looks better in a dark brown, but even if she had the gold dress that kim wore, her shoes were MUCH better than kim's boots. Boots?? With that dress? I don't think so. Get a new stylist kim.
