'America's Got Talent' Goth Opera Singer Andrew De Leon Wows Judges (VIDEO)

A 19-year-old opera-singing makeup artist with a Marylin Manson-inspired "goth" look is being heralded as "the next Susan Boyle." Andrew De Leon's unexpected audition on the new season of "America's Got Talent" has wowed the reality talent show's judges' panel and brought viewers to tears.

The self-proclaimed social "outcast" and self-taught singer wore piercing-blue contact lenses and thick black eye makeup as he took to the stage to perform for the very first time in front of a live audience. Not even his own parents had heard him sing. Of course, De Leon caught everyone off guard with an amazing, tear-jerking operatic performance.

"I'm just so used to being rejected," Andrew admitted, overcome with emotion after receiving a standing ovation. "I'm not really good at anything ... so this is amazing." De Leon made it through to the next round by unanimous decision. Check out his inspiring audition performance below!

Why don’t CBS, FOX, and NBC exec want consumers to enjoy commercial-free TV? It’s what we want! I’m a customer and employee of Dish, and I think AutoHop is great because you can easily watch commercial-free TV. A well known consumer advocacy group, Public Knowledge, agrees that people should have the right to control how they watch TV. They’re taking a stand for consumers by creating a petition that tells CBS, FOX, and NBC media to keep their hands out of your living room and DVR. I can't not believe his parents have never heard him sing.... I mean come on her is 19 probably lives with his parents they must hear him sing why would they be in the audience if they didn't hear him? There is no doubt that he has amazing talent, but I believe he purposely dressed goth to shock everyone that much more. Please correct me if I am wrong but anyone that knows this guy personally, does he dress like this all the time? Is he really that insecure of himself (of course he isn't insecure otherwise he wouldn't go on the show). I believe his story is fake but his talent is real, but in order to win this thing you need both an amazing story and talent, and he was smart enough to come up with this one. That is my gut instinct, if you know him personally or seen him in your school please let me know otherwise.

I think Andrew has some serious talent. I hope he continues to follow his dream and become a success. Americas got Talent is one of my favorite primetime shows. The only thing better than watching this show is the option to skip commercials. I’ve been able to enjoy the last few episodes commercial free using the Auto Hop feature. The commercials will always be there if you want to watch them, Auto hop just does the fast forwarding for you. One of my coworkers at Dish showed me how the Auto Hop will always ask if you want to use it or not before you watch each recording. I can watch my entire episode and found that it can be much more entertaining when I’m not yanked from the show every ten minutes by commercials. I won’t put so much wear on my remote anymore.
