Selena Gomez Plots Album and Tour, Says New Songs Won't Dish on Relationship With Justin Bieber

Some singers treat albums like diaries, revealing the ins and outs of their love lives. Selena Gomez isn't one. In an interview Monday with E! News, the teen star revealed plans to begin work on her fourth album, but she said the new songs won't offer any inside info on her relationship with boyfriend Justin Bieber.

"It's not going to be necessarily, 'Here's my tell-all,'" Gomez said. "It's going to be more of something that people could say, 'It could be that or it could be this or it could that.' At the end of the day I only make my music because I want it be really fun and if I could have people dance to it, relate to it, have a good time, that's all I want."

Even if the new record fails to shed light on her life with Biebs, it may reveal a side of the 19-year-old fans have yet to see.

"I think this is going to be the biggest one for me personally," Gomez said. "I want to be able to write about things I've never talked about before and tell a story with this album because I've never actually had time to go in and do that. I've never worked on a song for more than two days."

Gomez added that she hopes to work once again with producers Rock Mafia and Tony Gad and tour behind the record when it's finished.
