The Wanted proved themselves to be more than just a popular boy band this week. They became real-life heroes when they came to the rescue of a female fan who was having a seizure at the Glasgow Airport in Scotland!

The Wanted were greeted by screaming fans as they arrived at the airport to catch a flight after performing at the T in The Park music festival on Sunday (July 8). Apparently the sight of the boy band heartthrobs was too much for one female fan to handle. Members Nathan Sykes and Tom Parker spotted the girl as she fainted -- knocking her head during her fall and subsequently suffering a seizure. And you thought Bieber Fever was dangerous!

Nathan ordered the band's tour bus driver to pull over and rushed to the girl's side. "It was as we pulled up at the airport that one of our fans collapsed on the floor," Tom told The Sun. "Nath stayed by her side while I called [emergency services number] 999."

"It was pretty frightening but anyone would have done the same," Tom added. Heroic and modest!
