Amazing how ignorant and scared people are in the year 2012. Adam has amazing talent and experience. I have seen him mentoring and read his very knowledgeable comments about music. It is his life and career and he knows his stuff. I was done with Idol when his amazing voice did not win. Tred to watch last year and stopped when Colton Dixson vas voted off. If Adam were a judge I would watch!!! I think his career is will keep him too busy to be an idol judge.

Some of the comments here reflect no knowledge about Adam Lambert. He is professionally trained, did a lot of music theatre like Wicked, grammy nominated, toured all over the world to sell out crowds, and just finished a tour with Queen as their frontman to rave reviews. I think he qualifies--

A judge should be someone with alot of musical industry experience not Adam Lambert who has very little. Someone who will take the judging seriously and knows what their talking about. No one is going to care what Adam Lambert thinks or says he is too strange.

NO NO NO, He did not win, can't sing, just yells his song. He looks like a freak. I don't care that he is gay,
just don't like to look at him. I guess I will not have to watch AI this year. The show was always to long
anyway. That is why I used my DVD so I could fast forward through all the crap and just hear the songs.
Then PP won. What a joke

He actually has more talent than most of the past judges. Paula? Nicole? Some of the guest judges? Some were a joke.

Why would you let a neophyte performer with so little real-time experience JUDGE other neophyte performers? The ONLY reason they are considering Lambert is because he raises controversy. People love to hate the guy, and will watch just to do that.

NO! NO! NO! Has American Idol producers or whoever selects the judges, lost their minds. I for one WILL NOT WATCH American Idol if Adam Lambert is chosen as a judge. He id totally disgusting. Please, there has to been so many other talented music performers more capable to a judge.
