Fashion photographer Steven Klein shot the risque promo, which captures Gaga in an Odalisque-inspired pose, with nothing but some strategically place miniature men to maintain her modesty! The singer displays the egg-shaped bottle -- an ode to her infamous egg entrance at the 2011 Grammy Awards -- and the bottle is covered in golden claws, like the ones Mother Monster wears on her paws!
Coty Beauty executive Steve Mormoris tells WWD, "It is the first-ever black eau de parfum and we use language like 'black like the soul of fame but invisible once airborne,' which makes the fragrance an allusion to the dark side of fame." The scent is, of course, named for the singer's debut album, The Fame, and followup EP, The Fame Monster.
Gaga's perfume partner continued, "And it will smell different on different people. There is a different volatility for different notes, and they're of differing strengths. They work together harmoniously, but then they undergo metamorphosis on the skin, so you're constantly surprised."
The Eau de Gaga hits department stores in August.
