After upsetting Hindu leaders with her divorce, Katy Perry is in trouble in India, yet again. The pop star is facing indecency charges in the country after offending members of the public with her onstage antics at the opening of the Indian Premier League back in April.

During a visit to the country -- where she was married in a traditional Hindu ceremony back in 2010 -- Katy performed for audiences at the opening ceremony of the Indian cricket league's tournament in Chennai. According to The Sun, the indecency case takes issue with the moment during the show when the pop star invited Australian cricket player Doug Bollinger onstage to demonstrate how to swing a bat.

The cricketer approached Perry from behind, grasping her hands in his as they pretended the singer's mic was a bat. They proceeded to swing their hips back and forth in a playful, sexually suggestive manner.

The complaint was reportedly filed by a lawyer, K. Jebakumar, who claims to be acting on the public's behalf. He alleges the gesture violated India's Indecent Representation of Women Act and was "obscene and lascivious." The claim, filed with the Madras High Court, also says the publicity surrounding Katy's act "distracted students who were writing exams at the time."

At this point, neither Perry nor Bollinger have been charged. The case will be considered in court on July 31.

Hmmm... I guess in your culture you massacre people at movie theaters and sleep with 10 different people a month?
