Just a few short weeks ago, a source told the Mail Online that Sporty, Scary, Baby and Ginger were doing everything they could to convince Posh to sign on for the high-profile gig. "This is a serious proposition," claimed an insider. "Mel B has been bombarding Victoria with calls -- she's the sticking point. All the other girls want to do it. Victoria is extremely reluctant."
Well it looks like the girls have finally convinced Posh to join them on the live stage! "Victoria is in London until the end of the Games and David's exclusion from the football team means she has time to reunite with the Spice Girls," a source told Mirror.
The ladies will reportedly perform two songs at the August 12 extravaganza, one of which will be their 1996 breakout hit "Wannabe!" The British girl group will join a lineup of exclusively U.K. acts, including George Michael, The Who, Take That, Emeli Sande and Jessie J.
