Stars' Family Trees: Discover the Ancestral Lineage of Your Favorite Musicians

Watching the Olympic opening ceremonies recently got us to thinking about this great melting pot we call the United States, and all the various ethnicities that live here. The AOL Music staff alone has family tree roots in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America! Naturally, because we write about musicians all day, we got to wondering about the ancestral lineages of our favorite stars. What we found was both interesting, and in some cases, surprising! Education for White people, not Caucasian people but White people, there are no Black people any other place in the world but USA. Black people didn't want to be called ******, Coons and other name so in Oakland California a group of men who understood Spanish used the word Negro to create the word Black. In Spanish Negro is Black. So the next time you want to call a man a ****** understand that it is not calling him a Black man but that you are saying something that you created. .Any Black person in USA has had rape in their history by the Slave owner. He sold his own children on the block of profit. This is the White man.

Anthony, you sound very ignorant in your message and you can't even spell correctly. You should keep your thoughts to yourself. My Euorpean grandfathers on both sides married Indian women from the Choctaw tribe....but as far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter. I am an American and I am not prejudice!

Justin, Justin, Justin...let me see, she was an American Indian princess right? Stories handed down over generations without any proof of American Indian blood is not proof of heritage. We have a phony Senator in Massachusets who spins the same garbage and is just does not work in the real world. We, those of us who are in fact documented and enrolled American Indians have to prove our blood to the U.S. Government by way of a C.D.I.B. or Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood and are issued an enrollment number through our federally recognized band, tribe or nation. Come on, lame story Justin and you are not sure what war and don't even mention any people you are connected with. What an insult this story is. It should not be given any press time as it is a joke. If you are going to put this out on the line for everyone to read, then put up the tribe or people at least, not the lame quote that was attributed to you. It is demeaning to you and us. Sad commentary. Just the opinion of an enrolled American Indian who has heard this garbage before.

you may know what a red bird looks like,and what a blue J looks like have you EVER saw or heard of those two birds inter breedin , no they dont,,if they did in a few years there would only be one bird,,,(sad) the two bitds have the same on the inside, the difference is the shape of their beaks and the color of their feathers, humans should NOT inter breed. name one ,town,state,country,nation that is better after blacks took over,come on name one ,just one...

Put an African-american next to an African from Africa and you will see the difference. African-American are mixed with other blood and are not true black. Be it american indian, white, filipino, etc. but they won't admit to it even though it helps them in status.
