Pink, Eminem Collaborate on Song: 'Here Comes the Weekend' Slated for Singer's 'Truth About Love' Album

Eminem might not have recorded with Lady Gaga, as the Internet was led to believe earlier this week, but the rapper has cut a song with another pop star. In an interview with Australia's Herald Sun, Pink revealed that she and Slim Shady teamed up for a tune called "Here Comes the Weekend."

Slated to appear on Pink's forthcoming The Truth About Love album, "Here Comes the Weekend" is an "alternative club banger," in the singer's estimation. She said the pairing came together rather organically, with no need for pesky contracts.

"He said, 'Do you want to do a song with me?'" she told the Aussie newspaper. 'Fuck yeah!' I said, 'Do you want to do a song with me?' and he said, 'Fuck yeah!' Handshake. Nothing signed. Done."

Pink, who also worked with Lily Allen on the forthcoming disc, said she and Em actually collaborated on two tracks, the second of which will surface later down the line.

"I think we have another song in our future that will be funny and shit talking," she said.
