Whitney Houston's Daughter Bobbi Kristina Gets Tattoo in Mother's Memory

Dan Steinberg, AP

Today (Aug. 9) would have been Whitney Houston's 49th birthday had she not tragically passed away earlier this year in February. As many celebrate her memory on the day she was born, Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has found a special way to commemorate her mother in the form of a new tattoo.

"Tat tat tatted YURP.. ;) now your truly ALWAYS with us mommy (: we love you @nickdgordon always&forever{<3}," the 19-year-old posted to Twitter along with a photo of her fresh ink.

In the accompanying image, she and her rumored boyfriend Nick Gordon sport the matching tattoos. Gordon was informally adopted by Houston when he was 12. However after the singer's death, Bobbi Kristina and Gordon have gotten closer than siblings should, according to reports.

Their inked wrists display Whitney's initials, "WH," with tiny crosses on either side surrounded by doves.
