Look out, Springfield! Justin Bieber is set to join a long, star-studded list of celebrity cameos on "The Simpsons" -- though it's possible the teen wasn't supposed to mention that just yet!

"Just did a voice over for the SIMPSONS!!! #swaggy," Bieber shared with his 26.9 million Twitter followers yesterday (Aug. 21). The tweet has since been removed from the singer's account, so we can only assume Justin wasn't supposed to let his "Simpsons" guest-star news out of the bag. Not so #swaggy.

Despite Bieber's tweet delete, the show's executive producer, Al Jean, confirmed the news to EW. "He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won't admit him," Jean revealed. "Draw your own conclusions," he added.

Jean also noted that Bieber's time on the show will be short and sweet. "It's a cameo, but all of his fans should watch every minute of the show, before and after he's on."

The Biebs makes his "Simpsons" debut in "The Fabulous Faker Boy" episode, airing in 2013. "The Simpsons" Season 24 premieres Sept. 30 on FOX.
