"Thanks to family, friends & fans for all the amazing birthday wishes," Howie D tweeted ahead of his 39th candle-blowing, cake-eating ceremony. "This year I'm receiving the best gift from my wife another baby boy!" he shared, revealing the baby's gender.
"I know it's not until Wed, but I already feel like I'm having an incredible bday with the baby boy news and all of the amazing bday wishes!" he added.
Howie and Leigh got hitched back in 2007, and welcomed their first son, James Hoke in 2009. Howie's baby news comes just weeks after bandmate A.J. McLean's announcement that he and his wife are expecting their first child, a girl to be named Ava Jaymes. Backstreet Babies for everyone!
