Jennifer Lopez ABC tv showArnulfo Franco, AP

LOS ANGELES (AP) - ABC Family says it green-lighted a series pilot from Jennifer Lopez's production company about a lesbian couple and their diverse family.

ABC Family said Thursday the comedy-drama pilot, titled "The Fosters," is about two women raising a "21st century," multi-ethnic mix of foster and biological kids.

Lopez will be an executive producer for the hour-long project. Casting was not announced.

Her company, Nuyorican, is in development on other TV series, including "Taming Ben Taylor," a romantic comedy starring the actress-singer, and "Sweet Little 15," a Mexican girl's coming-of-age story.

Lopez, who recently exited "American Idol" as a judge, also is developing films through her company.

ABC is a garbage, leftist network who couldn't report a story without political bias if they tried. They put junk like this on their "Family" channel? What's left to say?

Does any body remember the old saying "Any publicity is good publicity"? The biggest job of the "hollywood set" is to be seen and remembered. The more they are out in publi, the more they are being seen. The worse their behavior or attire, the more they are remembered. And it seems, the less talented the celeb is, the more they seek attention (publcity)
If they could be remembered for their skills (Sean Connery, Harrison Ford, Tom Hanks) to name a few rather than the amount of publicity (mostly bad), I think their industry and our appreciation of them would be much greater

Another Hollywood loser with their mind in the gutter. do they really thnk they are admired. My money would not go for the trash that hollywood puts on the screen. it's disgusting and vile. The sad part is, they really think they are worshiped, really they are a pathetic bunch of rich losers. If I were a liberal, I would be ashamed to have them on my side they are a disgrace to the human race. If a person is not already vile, irrerverrant, and vulgar after being in hollywood for a short time, you will be. very few come out of sodom and ghomorra untainted. Kirk Cameron is the greatest example of a real man that respects himself and doesn't wallow with the pigs. He didn't sell himself out for the amighty dollar and attention. We should have more like him. How these pigs can look themselves in the mirror after the disgusting things they say and do is beyond my imagination. They sicken me to the depths of my being. Poor ole homely Miley Cyus that went to the dogs after she got from under her dad is pathetic. I know Billy Ray would have never taken her to Hollywood had he even imaginec that she would turn out to be a tramp. And to think at one time I defended her, I thought she may be different but it sure takes a special person to remain with your standards that your parents have taught you. She will hit rock bottom like Lindsay Lohan Brittany Spears and on and on. My child would never watch anything that has hollywood attached to it. What really boils my blood, is this ""good celebrity parents do no let the own childrean watch tv" Well not aint that a hoot, put your vulgar crap on screen fo tempt our young ones and hide your own kids from it, hypocrtical money loving trash. Hope how soon others eyes will open and let you all go flat broke. Decency is still in style. But when you talk to someone who has no decency themselves, how do you convince an ignorant moron.

Yes, I hope decency never goes out of style. But isn't decency subjective? You consider Kirk Cameron to be the epitome of decency. Yet others, those who don't consider homosexuality to be subhuman, would view him as pious and self righteous, qualities that are more likely associated with a false sense of decency. While you see him as worthy of sainthood, others may question his bigotry as a qualification.
As for you, the next time someone questions YOUR decency, have them read your little rant. That should leave no argument.
