In a tribute to one of her idols, Jennifer Lopez recently covered a Selena song while on tour in Texas. Lopez's big break was playing the role of the Selena in the 1997 film about the late singer's life. The performance in Dallas was the first time that "Jenny From The Block" had performed a Selena ballad since the movie's release. J. Lo also posted video footage of the performance on her official website as a dedication: "In Memory of Selena Quintanilla-Perez."
