According to TMZ, Mayer might be in possession of $465,000 in dirty money from the scheme's collapse.
The scheme revolves around Darren Berg. Berg was sentenced to 18 years in prison for bilking investors of more than $100 million through his investment company. Trustees assigned to try and find that lost money are tracking down where the money went and thus suing everyone they can in order to recover it. This is where Mayer comes in.
Legal documents now show that Mayer's name made that list after booking agency Grabow & Associates was paid by Berg's company.
