A lawsuit regarding a Seattle-based Ponzi scheme totally over $100 million could end up dragging John Mayer into it for simply performing a normal corporate gig.

According to TMZ, Mayer might be in possession of $465,000 in dirty money from the scheme's collapse.

The scheme revolves around Darren Berg. Berg was sentenced to 18 years in prison for bilking investors of more than $100 million through his investment company. Legal documents now show that Mayer's name made that list after booking agency Grabow & Associates was paid by Berg's company.
