Thousands of hopefuls audition for the "The X Factor," but one singer brought down the house -- and brought judge Demi Lovato to tears.

During the "X Factor" Season 2 premiere Wednesday night (Sept. 12), viewers saw a very personal side of Demi when a contestant stood up to sing Jessie J's "Who You Are."

Before her performance, 19-year-old Jillian Jensen confessed that she is a huge fan of Demi's. Born a month apart, both women sport "Stay Strong" tattoos and share a history of being bullied.

If Demi's reaction to Jensen's awe-inspiring performance wasn't clear in the single tear that rolled down her cheek, it definitely was when she leaned over to fellow judge Britney Spears to whisper, "You can feel that pain."

With adding Demi and Britney to the judging table, and the amazing talent showcased on the season premiere, it looks like this season of "The X Factor" is shaping up to be a good one!

Grab a box of tissues and check out Jensen's tear-jerking performance below.

Jillian’s performance had me crying and I’m not an overtly emotional person. Demi is right however, as you could definitely feel the pain coming through in her words. She channeled it beautifully and made everyone understand how much it hurt to be in her shoes. While I’ve never been bullied, I do know friends that were growing up and dealing with it isn’t easy. This phenomenal talent is what inspired me to record the season on my Hopper. I may miss an episode or two and really miss out on some talent. This performance was so powerful that it even moved Simon to a tear and Demi proclaimed “Aww, you have a heart!” which made me laugh for the next five minutes. My Dish co-workers really like this season so far as promising talent is being picked to move on. I like the revised format much better and it seems to be livelier. Here’s to a great season of the X-Factor.
