Lance Bass, the openly gay former *NSYNC star, admits that he came out to his good friend Britney Spears years before he let everyone else know. After the "Toxic" singer's ill-advised Las Vegas marriage, Lance had to do something to take Britney's mind off the imminent press explosion. To her credit, Spears never breathed a word and Lance's secret only leaked when he decided to come out on his own terms.

is this guy's whole career going to be how he came out to everyone....get over it..you were on the cover of a magazine, and noone was surprised anyway.
