Despite his recent sentencing to six months of no singing, John Mayer hit the "SNL" live stage this past weekend (Sept. 15). But don't worry, he didn't utter a word. Instead, Mayer played guitar in support of his fellow singer and collaborator, Frank Ocean, who made his debut on the comedy sketch show's Season 38 premiere. [Rolling Stone]
Another musician managed to make it onto "SNL" this weekend. Korean rapper-turned-YouTube sensation PSY, and his now-viral "Gangnam Style" dance, was the subject of a spot-on parody during one of the show's sketches, which featured a surprise appearance by the artist himself! [Z100]
