Lea Michele, L'Oreal Paris Deal: 'Glee' Star Will Promote 'Inner Beauty and Self-Worth' for Cosmetics Brand

"Glee" star Lea Michele is set to be the new face of L'Oreal Paris.

"I'm overjoyed and beyond honored to be a part of the L'Oreal Paris family," the 26-year-old singer/actress told PEOPLE. "I'm such a fan of L'Oreal Paris not just for all of their amazing products, but for what they stand for. I'm so thankful to be a part of a television show that promotes inner beauty and self-worth. Now to be a part of this amazing family that expresses the same amazing message is such an honor," she added.

Lea certainly had to believe in her own self-worth while trying to break into the entertainment industry. Since finding fame playing a social outcast on "Glee," Lea has revealed that when she was just a teen, multiple talent managers told her she wouldn't make it in the business unless she got a nose job.

Lea's also admitted that bullies harassed her into adopting her stage name, comprised of her first and middle name. Her real last name, Sarfati, led Lea to be called names like "so fatty" and "so farty."

Of course, Lea has the last laugh on this one ... Oh, and a reported $1 million paycheck, too! Michele follows in the footsteps of fellow beauties like Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez as a celebrity spokesmodel for the cosmetics brand. Her first print and television ads will debut in early 2013.
