The "Born This Way" songstress first looked through a pack of cigarettes thrown onstage, sniffing them for cannabis and then chucking them offstage when she realized they were all tobacco.
Another helpful fan tossed a Dutch spliff up to Mother Monster who said she just wanted to "check if it was real" and lit up on the spot.
The pop star has been very open about her cannabis use in the past, admitting that she has dabbled in both hard drugs and alcohol, but has found marijuana to be a welcome relief from other substances.
Gaga shared that using marijuana is an extremely spiritual experience for her that helps with her music, even joking that she wanted to talk to President Obama about legalizing it.
After taking about three puffs onstage, she threw the joint back into the crowd. "For those of you who are wondering if I'm high right now, I'm not. That is not nearly enough to get me high," the "Bad Romance" singer laughed.
Despite the crowd's wild reaction to the singer's onstage smoke fest, today some are criticizing Gaga about the message her actions are sending to younger fans.
