Teenage girls aren't the only ones getting excited by One Direction's new lead single, "Live While We're Young." Upon the early release of the boy band's new Take Me Home album track, fans of the Clash were quick to get up in arms about the song's similarities to the British punk band's 1982 classic, "Should I Stay or Should I Go."

"I don't even have to say this since you've probably already noticed but listen to the new One Direction song and think The Clash. Wow," a Twitter user pointed out in a post to the social networking site. Other commentators were a bit more fired up with their interpretation of the similarities between the two songs.

"Hope one direction are paying royalties to the clash for their new song," one fan tweeted, while another Clash defender wrote, "Right, One Direction have quite literally taken the same riff from Should I Stay or Should I Go by the Clash. F--kkkkkkk youuuuuu."

The opening bars of 1D's new tune seem to be the section of the song in question. Do you think the rip-off allegations have any merit? Listen to each song below and tweet us your thoughts @aolmusic!
