Are Gwen Stefani's sons set to follow the musical footsteps of their mom and dad Gavin Rossdale? The 42-year-old mother-of-two stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" with her No Doubt bandmates to promote the release of their first album in over a decade. Stefani also brought her 4-year-old Zuma along for the show. Rather than sit backstage and wait for his mom, the tot decided to join the band for sound check!

When Ellen asked if making Push and Shove took as long as it did due to the fact that each band member was now a parent, the answer was a resounding "Yes."

"It was challenging," Stefani admitted. "We'd get together like three times a week, and I tried all versions. Like, 'Oh, today I'm gonna bring them with me,' and that didn't work. So then I was like, 'Today I'm not gonna see them, I'm gonna work all day, and then I'll be with them tomorrow.' It was just chaos."

As for Zuma and his 6-year-old brother Kingston's interest in music, Gwen tells Ellen, "Zuma's the one who's showing more interest in the guitar. Since he was tiny, he's always played guitar. I mean, he's not really playing the guitar, but he thinks he does."

Of course there is video footage of Zuma swaying alongside his mama, wearing enormous headphones and "playing" a guitar about as tall as he is during sound check. Check it out below!
