Pop Stars and Politics: How Musicians Help Get Presidents Elected

If you happened to catch "Saturday Night Live" in recent weeks, you might have laughed out loud at arguably one of the funniest political spoofs of the year. In a hilarious "Weekend Update" sketch, "SNL" newbie Kate McKinnon portrays a visibly miffed Ann Romney, lamenting that the Obamas get to hang out with Beyonce and Jay-Z, while she's stuck lunching with actor John Voight!

To be fair, the Republican party does have some A-list musical supporters cooler than Jon Voight, and they -- like Beyonce -- have played interesting rolls in recent political campaigns. Click through our gallery below to see the pop stars, rockers and country crooners who've thrown their hats in the political ring ... and in doing so, may just have affected more than one election!

Does any intelligent person really care what Beyonce thinks? She has showed how ignorant she is by marrying a thug or Faux thug, no-talent. Is there any reason that they support Obama other than the fact that he is black? Jay-Z has already said that bigger government is not good, but apparently they and other blacks are content being slaves again when the slavemaster is a black president.

Huffington provides us with 'primarily' biased news, , , , , not all, , , but most. Therefore I 'hope' you have the sense to educate yourself and find other sources for news that is less biased than Huffington. I believe you want to know the real news, the truth. Tonight's Presidential debate showed a clear the differences between liberalism and conservatism. if you haven't already drunk the kool Aid I suggest you try other news sources that offer you some conservative opinions and ideas.
