Boy bands are back and One Direction is leading the pack. That means a new wave of teary-eyed adolescent girls worshiping the heartthrobs' every move. "Trainee musicologist," Josh Haddow has embarked on a series of studies about music fans, and his latest is a hilarious, albeit disturbing, video survey of One Direction diehards.

Haddow meets fanatics outside of a 1D concert where one young lady declares the boy band is bigger than the Beatles. One fan compares member Zayn Malik to Gandhi, while another says she'd pray to Harry Styles, "Please, Harry, let me pass this exam."

Haddow faces the wrath of some seriously ticked-off teens when he asks if there's any merit to rumors that Harry and bandmate Louis Tomlinson are gay lovers.
