Demi Lovato Gives Support for Bullied News Anchor Jennifer Livingston

Demi Lovato is the latest supporter of Jennifer Livingston, a news anchor who went on-air to defend herself after her weight was criticized.

Just a week after Livingston went on TV to address a letter from Wisconsin native Kenneth Krause, who suggested the anchor is setting a bad example for viewers based upon her size, the video has gone viral.

Lovato, an anti-bullying ambassador who has faced insecurity over her own weight in the past, tweeted her encouragement to Livingston. Jennifer Livingston is a STRONG, BEAUTIFUL and inspiring woman... Please watch this video.."

In the video, Livingston stands her ground against the bully.

"The truth is, I am overweight. You can call me fat -- and yes, even obese on a doctor's chart, but to the person who wrote me that letter, do you think I don't know that?" she says. "That your cruel words are pointing out something that I don't see? You don't know me. You are not a friend of mine. You are not a part of my family."

The "Skyscraper" singer lauded Livingston for saying "almost everything I stand for."

This is not the first time Lovato has reached out to a victim of bullying. Last month, "The X Factor" judge was brought to tears after a contestant confessed to being made fun of all through middle school and high school.
