Katy Perry, Obama Fundraiser Concert: Singer Reveals Manicure Endorsement, Helps Raise Millions for President in Los Angeles

We can now add Katy Perry to our "Pop Stars and Politics: How Musicians Help Get Presidents Elected" photo gallery. The singer, along with fellow performers Jennifer Hudson, Bon Jovi, Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind & Fire helped raise some serious cash for President Obama's reelection campaign at a Los Angeles concert last night (Oct. 7). The musicians came together at the 30 Days to Victory concert at the Nokia Theater ahead of next month's (Nov. 4) election.

"Today I am so honored to play for the President!" Katy tweeted before taking the stage. She performed songs like her No. 1 hit, "Firework," and a cover of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together," which Obama famously sang at a Harlem fundraising event back in January.

In addition to her performance, Perry showed her patriotism and support for the president with a star-spangled manicure, which even featured portraits of Obama himself!

George Clooney also made an appearance at the sold-out event which sold 6,000 tickets at $250 or more a piece. After the show, Obama and some VIPs headed next door to celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck's WP24 restaurant for a $25,000 per plate dinner. The two events pulled in an estimated $5 million for the final leg of the president's reelection campaign.
