After Justin Timberlake popped the question to longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel back in December 2011, it looks like the famous couple is set to wed in a ceremony in southern Italy this week! Following a false alarm earlier this year, both Us Weekly and Life & Style report Justin, 31, and Jessica, 30, are ready to say their "I do's!"
"They are ready to get married," an insider tells US revealing the planned ceremony -- an intimate, rustic affair. With only close friends and family in attendance, the notoriously private couple is apparently taking "extra precautions" to keep the ceremony location very hush hush. The pre-celebrations reportedly kicked off in Italy yesterday (Oct. 16).
"They were told just to fly to Italy," a Life & Style source said of how little the couple's guests knew about the nuptials ahead of time. "Save-the-dates went out in the spring and little information was given. Guests were warned that any phones or cameras would be confiscated, so best to leave them at the hotel."
Just a few weeks ago, Timberlake partied it up bachelor style in Las Vegas and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. He also spoke candidly with reporters at a recent press conference for his new movie, "Trouble With the Curve," about how he plans to make his marriage last.
"I think it's important to remember that you go into something like marriage knowing that you don't know very much about it at all," he said. "I do look at the marriage of my mother and stepdad, and what makes it work for them is that it's a team effort."
