Country darling Taylor Swift had some nerves of her own when it came to meeting one her heroes: Bruce Springsteen. The Boss indulged Taylor in her own fan-girl behavior when she asked him to autograph her guitar, and even played her beloved instrument. Let's hope the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" hit-maker doesn't try to date Bruce, we cannot picture that going well.

Taylor may still be the person that American Country folks fell in love with a few years back -- but song-by-song. album-by-album and step-by-step; she seems to be falling deeper into all those ways of being a "star" that so many of us had thought she was not... and never would be. Not Good.

She is moving towards being (for country music) what Christina Agulara has become for Pop music.

Tim and Faith, as well as the rest of us, are holding our breath - hoping she turns this around before she falls off the deep-end of damage.
