"Four more years," was the message sent out from the POTUS' Twitter handle to his 22.6 million followers as he came out victorious at the election. The message included a touching photo of Obama embracing first lady Michelle Obama.
The tweet racked up over 200,000 retweets in its first 22 minutes, surpassing the previous record held by Bieber. At press time, Obama's message has garnered well over 650K retweets.
Justin's 29.8 million Twitter followers helped the singer to the previously held record for a message that paid tribute to his late fan, Avalanna Routh aka "Mrs. Bieber." "RIP Avalanna. i love you," the teen wrote after the 6-year-old fan lost her battle to cancer this past September. That post has over 223K retweets.
While Bieber has yet to give his own concession speech, he did congratulate the president on his reelection and made a reference to "Obamacare." "Alot of emotions right now. congrats President Obama," JB wrote. "Im Canadian. Im good. #FreeHealthcare :)."
