Although she eventually went with "American Idol," Nicki Minaj was also in talks with Simon Cowell's "X Factor" right up until final decisions were made by casting for both shows. Although Scherzinger was fired from her gig as a US 'X Factor' judge, Simon re-hired her for the UK version of the show. Minaj has been making dramatic headlines of her own though, as the tension between her and co-judge Mariah Carey has spilled over into a fairly intense feud. The "Pound The Alarm" hitmaker sounded off about allegations on Twitter, but things seem to have cooled recently.
