Elton John, Baby News: Singer to Be a Dad Again

After news surfaced earlier this year that Elton John and his partner, David Furnish, were putting the wheels in motion to have another baby, a report hit today that their surrogate is pregnant and is due next year.

According to UK's The Sun, the couple are "over the moon" about being parents again. Baby #2 will also be welcomed by a big brother: 2-year-old Zachary Furnish-John, who was born in Dec. 2010 via the same surrogate.

A source tells The Sun of the surrogate: "Elton and David love this lady like a sister and they feel indebted to her for life. Naturally she has been well rewarded."

According to the paper, the mother's identity will never be revealed but she's believed to live in California. She reportedly met the couple through the Center for Surrogate Parenting in Encino.

Elton's staff have been sworn to secrecy but the paper reports that the pair is looking for an extra nanny, who will be based at his mansion in Old Windsor, Berkshire.

Earlier this summer, Elton expressed desire for more children. He said of the possibility: "At what stage we don't know. But we definitely will. I don't want him to be an only child."

Elton, 65, and Furnish, 50, became civil partners in 2005.

His children will want to know who is their real biological mother someday. Everyone has a mom and a dad. There are some very good psychological and biological reasons why children should be allowed to know who their mom and dad really are. Maybe someday we will have a Children's Rights movement after all these sperm donor children and homosexual children grow up and get angry about the insensitive ways they were conceived.

These poor pervs live in their own perverted distorted confused world. Elton is going to be dad again? Does that mean they are going to be 2 dads. Elton looks more like "Mum" to me. No wonder the world is going to hell in a hand basket. BTW doesn't dad look like John Ritter?
