According to the Daily Star, a 1D insider has revealed that First Lady Michelle Obama personally reached out to the heartthrobs to ask them to swing by the White House. "It's an open invitation for a date to be arranged that fits in with everyone's busy schedules," the source said.
First daughters Malia, 14, and Sasha, 11, have apparently become big fans of the boy band after hanging out with the guys at the Kid's Choice Awards back in March. "It's not every parent who can invite the hottest band in the world to their home," the source continued. "They will be the envy of girls across the world."
That admiration is mutual. Member Niall Horan has previously admitted to being a "massive" fan of President Obama. Hopefully, One Direction wont go breaking Malia and Sasha's hearts and will accept the FLOTUS' invite. Earlier this year, the group turned down a chance to perform at the White House's annual Easter Egg Roll due to scheduling conflicts.
