Cher, Donald Trump Feud Continues as Singer Boycotts Macy's Over Deal With Controversial Mogul

Cher is joining the chorus of over 460,000 who have signed a petition urging famed department store Macy's to part ways with one of its celebrity endorsement deal stars, Donald Trump. The two stars have previously clashed over their political views.

Upon discovering the petition on SignOn.org, Cher announced she intended to boycott Macy's until it cut ties with Trump. The mogul has filmed commercials for the store and has a menswear line with the brand in his name.

"I'll NEVER GO TO MACY'S AGAIN !" Cher revealed in a recent Twitter message. "I didnt [sic] know they sold Donald Trump's Line! If they don't care that they sell products from a LOUDMOUTH RACIST CRETIN,WHO'D LIE LIKE 'HIS RUG' TO GET SOME CHEAP PRESS ! I CANT BELIEVE MACY'S THINKS HE'S THE RIGHT 'MAN' 2 [sic] REPRESENT THEIR NAME !"

Cher's Twitter remarks reignite the feud between the two stars, which started back in May as Cher dissed then-candidate Mitt Romney and the conservative right. "If ROMNEY gets elected I don't know if I can breathe same air as Him & his Right Wing Racist Homophobic Women Hating Tea Bagger Masters," Cher wrote in a post on Twitter.

That message prompted Trump to respond with his own Twitter diss and to go on Fox News and proclaim, "Cher is somewhat of a loser. She's lonely, she's unhappy, she's very miserable."

The petition takes issue with Trump for his "racially charged birther conspiracy" theory against President Obama, "sexist behavior," and for being a climate change denier, among other things.

I like donald Trump. Cher should look into all the charities he gives to, how many people he has helped in so many ways. He is a good man. I once liked Cher but now feel very different about her & her extreme liberism. She got lucky w/ Sonny from thier TV show & probably still getting royalties. No money worries but w/ all the face lifts, doesn\'t change her face. Give it up Cher, no one cares what you think.

She boycott's Macys and she boycots Walmart. Her wardrobe is probably custom made or bought on Rodeo Dr. Boycott everything not perfect in Cher land? I wonder where she buys her toilet paper.? Just use dollar bills, Cher.

D list, really, perhaps you ought to go back to school and relearn your alphabet, she's got the money to prove it. Hey a bit of spelling wouldn't hurt either, no such word as lister!

Trump has turned out to be a loose cannon in so many ways, it is a big belly laugh. I also liked him few years ago, but more he opens his very large mouth, more crazy he sounds. Now days he sounds like any publicity hound on the loose. As a matter of fact what he comes up with nowadays I pay no attention anymore. It's all the same prattle
how great he is. Who needs that????????

I always thought Donald Trump was a really nice person. After all the derogatory racist remarks and Obama bashing I do think Macys should take him off the ads and all products from store. This is not what Macys stands for!

Messy's doesn't care about what they sell or to whom they sell it to. Their only concern is profit and if that means selling garbage to people who fall for a "brand" then they have succeeded. In my opinion, they should be boycotted regardless, they are just another cookie-cutter big box tragedy!
