U.K.'s boy band the Wanted are "glad they came" with their music to the U.S., and if their plans pan out, they hope to stay in America for a longer amount of time -- by being permanent residents!

In fact, besides trying to live here, the guys also might be hitting the small screen. Member Tom Parker tells Britain's The Sun, "We're looking at getting a TV show in the U.S. and we want houses over there to have a base. We're also in the frame to record a song for a big film sequel and we might get a cameo in it."

Besides hoping to gain more popularity in the U.S. by moving across the pond, the guys hope to make more moolah as well. According to the bandmembers, they haven't been cashing in big since their success.

In a recent interview with British personality Alan Carr, member Jay McGuiness joked that the guys are broke. "We met our accountant the other day," he said. "It was so depressing. It took him two hours to say: 'Boys, you're skint.'"

With the move, the Wanted hope to be as a huge (and rich) as another U.K. boy band, One Direction. "I don't think they have anything to be upset about, they are absolutely smashing it," Max George said. Tom added, "They are the biggest band in the world."
