The singer and his wife, Rochelle Deanna Karidis, welcomed their first baby, a daughter named Ava Jaymes this morning in Los Angeles, Calif. (Nov. 27).
A.J. shared his excitement to In Touch magazine, saying, "We are all doing well and are thrilled to welcome Ava to the world." Ava was born at 4:51 a.m., weighing 7 pounds, 7 ounces.
A.J. and Karidis had a blast getting ready for their new bundle of joy, including wearing infant attire to Karidis' baby shower.
The two wed in December 17, 2011 and couldn't wait to start a family. Telling fans in April that they were expecting, A.J. said in a YouTube video, "I just wanted to say thank you guys for all your love and support/ Because we love you all so much, we wanted to share with you –- for the first time –- something very special. We're having a baby!"
Now, they can celebrate their first wedding anniversary with Ava by their sides.
