According to TMZ, the California Franchise Tax Board filed a $37,712.71 lien against the couple for an unpaid income tax from 2004, the year they got married.
Besides her "X Factor" paycheck, Britney shouldn't have too much trouble with paying the lien -- her assets in 2010 were a reported $32.3 million.
Britney and Kevin's reps didn't respond to the report, the gossip site states.
