"I love pop music and will do until the day I die. Some people think it's a dirty word, but I f-ing love it. I wanted to bring in more of the music I listen to off stage, which meant more guitars and less Auto-Tune. Although I make electronic dance music, you can't just keep making the same thing over and over again. I want to push the boundaries of pop music." -- Kesha

Kesha tells Digital Spy that her latest album Warrior is still totally a pop album, it's just pushing the boundaries of the genre. The singer worked with several other big names including British producer Calvin Harris -- a collaboration that included a make out sesh as well! The "Die Young" singer also sang a duet with the legendary Iggy Pop for a track on her new album entitled "Dirty Love." She certainly pushes the boundaries when it comes to stating her opinion too, as the 25-year-old recently spoke out strongly against double standards for women and sexism.
