The band's corporation, Jonas Brothers Enterprises, is the subject of a lawsuit filed on Monday (Dec. 31) by a female concertgoer who claims she suffered long-term trauma after being caught up in a concert crush during a free Jonas Brothers concert at Los Angeles' The Grove in May 2010.
Obtaining a copy of the lawsuit, TMZ reports Ashleigh Johnson alleges she was pushed up against a fence and was "agonizingly crushed," subsequently suffering mental, emotional and physical injuries.
The brotherly trio isn't the only target of the suit, Johnson has also taken aim at Caruso Affiliated, the company that owns The Grove retail and entertainment complex.
Concert injuries are always a threat when pop idols are involved. Since 2011, Justin Bieber's management has made a conscious effort not to book the teen sensation any gigs in venues without seating, in a bid to avoid mob stampedes. This time last year, 11 fans were hurt during a massive crush at a LMFAO show.
