Jonas Brothers Sued by Fan Caught in Crowd Crush

The Jonas Brothers have reunited and are back on the road just like old times -- and that means hordes of frantic, screaming fans jostling around for a mere glimpse of the heartthrobs. Hopefully, the JoBros' current string of shows doesn't lead to a fan lawsuit, like the one they're facing now.

The band's corporation, Jonas Brothers Enterprises, is the subject of a lawsuit filed on Monday (Dec. 31) by a female concertgoer who claims she suffered long-term trauma after being caught up in a concert crush during a free Jonas Brothers concert at Los Angeles' The Grove in May 2010.

Obtaining a copy of the lawsuit, TMZ reports Ashleigh Johnson alleges she was pushed up against a fence and was "agonizingly crushed," subsequently suffering mental, emotional and physical injuries.

The brotherly trio isn't the only target of the suit, Johnson has also taken aim at Caruso Affiliated, the company that owns The Grove retail and entertainment complex.

Concert injuries are always a threat when pop idols are involved. Since 2011, Justin Bieber's management has made a conscious effort not to book the teen sensation any gigs in venues without seating, in a bid to avoid mob stampedes. This time last year, 11 fans were hurt during a massive crush at a LMFAO show.

I don't get it. The only possibility I see of a crowd crush would be trying to get away from them.

What did she expect? An orderly crowd? It's just plain silly and she should get a life... that is, one in the real world.

It's all their fault for being famous and having the ability to get fans to come to a free concert. They should have known that some screaming idiot would try to get closer and then get hurt.

Love the Jonas Brothers. You have to expect that at a live concert. If you can't handle the crowd, Don't Go! Ridiculous! They should not be liable.

This is dumb, it wasnt their fault she wanted to be upfront. It was her choice to be up there. I go to a lot of rock and metal concerts, no one is blaming the bands for mosh pit injurys or crowd surfers kicking me in the face and landing on my head. Also I'm sure the crowd was mostly girls, try having a group of huge guys shoving you into the rail, theres girls upfront at those shows who can handle it. Grow up, if you cant handle the pressure of being upfront then stay in the back. Just another person trying to get money and ruin concerts for everyone else. Seated concerts suck the worst, I go crazy when I'm suck in one spot.

Love the Jonas Brothers. It is not their fault she couldn't handle the crowd. Concerts are just that way. Be ready for it or don't go.

If I'm on the jury.....NO SOUP FOR YOU! This is a frivolous lawsuit. They don't owe her a damn thing.
